Why does this have to be? Can’t the world just wake up and see Michael for the pure beautiful healing loving person that he really was? It’s so wrong. I responded to them with respect and explained the truth, trying to think of it from their point of view of not knowing, and just believing what the media has been feeding them for 20 years. So hurtful! Having these two things happen at the same time really made me feel angry and sad and hopeless. That is what makes Michael an easy target with a potentially big payout for someone who decides to try it. That is exactly what is so damaging about false accusations. Once someone is accused of something, there is always going to be a doubt in people’s minds.
